Cleaning Up Live Dialogue with the NS1 Plugin (Tip)

Tricks of the Mix: Find out how to bring that extra something to your mix using Waves plugins, brought to you by Waves Artists, Product Specialists and enthusiasts like yourself.
Insert the NS1 on your lav, podium mic, or dialogue bus if you are using one. Have someone talk on the mic and adjust the NS1. Starting with the NS1 fader all the way down at 0, bring it up slowly until the reflections re-entering the mic from the room are minimized. You might not need much at all to clean up your dialogue and get it sounding tight and clear.
