If you inadvertently installed a plugin version that cannot run on your operating system or host application and wish to roll back to V13 plugins, follow these instructions.
If you have activated licenses of a newer version, no worries! Licenses of the current plugin version will activate V13 software, as long as the product/s in question exist in V13.
To find out whether a certain plugin exists in V13, visit the V13 Download page and scroll down to the bottom of the page.
Step #1: Uninstall the higher version
Quit any host application.
Launch Waves Central and log in.
On the left-hand side, click the Settings page.
Under Maintenance, click the Uninstall drop-down menu and choose to uninstall the current plugins version.
Step #2: Install V13 software
Method 1: Install Online with Waves Central
Launch the Waves Central application on the computer where your licenses are activated. On Windows: via the desktop shortcut or via Start Menu > All Programs > Waves Central. On Mac:Applications > Waves Central.
Log into Waves Central.
Click the Install Products page > All Products tab.
Click the View menu and select only V13 Plugins.
Use the search bar to search and select the products you wish to install. Review the selections in the Summary section.
If you’re Subscribed to Waves Creative Access, select the following products to install all Waves plugins:
Abbey Road Collection
Abbey Road Studio 3
Clarity Vx Pro
CR8 Creative Sampler
Inspire
Mercury
Nx Virual Studio Collection
SSL 4000 Collection
StudioRack
TRACT System Calibration
Click the Install button.
Method 2: Use the dedicated V13 Offline Installer
If you are installing bundles or single plugins:
Quit any host application.
Download the V13 Offline Installation Folder for Mac | Windows.
Unzip the folder to your desktop.
Navigate to the Waves V13 – 10.7.22 folder which you just extracted.
In the folder, launch the file named “install.cen”.
Waves Central will open on the Offline Installer page.
Use the search bar to search and select the products you wish to install.
Click Install.
If you are installing Waves Creative Access:
Quit any host application.
Download the V13 Waves Creative Access Offline Installation Folder for Mac | Windows.
Unzip the folder to your desktop.
Navigate to the Waves V13 Plugins folder which you just extracted.
In the folder, launch the file named “install.cen”.
Waves Central will open on the Offline Installer page.
Select All Waves Plugins and StudioRack.
Click Install.
Please note – Only plugins that are part of your Waves Creative Access subscription will show up in your DAW.
Your products are now ready to use.
